My Story

Realising that my international corporate career was taking its’ toll, I decided to turn near burn-out into an opportunity to reassess and revitalise. In doing so, I discovered the power of nutrition and lifestyle changes to regenerate not just the body, but also the mind. Re-energized, I pursued a BSc (Hons) degree in Nutritional Therapy.

A self-confessed international nomad, I believe that my experience of living and travelling around the world, as well as being multi-lingual gives me a unique perspective on the very fabric that connects us as humankind which is further enriched with each client.

Over the last 10 years I have had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages, from diverse backgrounds, with different health conditions, residing around the world. I have learned a lot from each client and from others involved in their personal-circle-of-care and have continually challenged myself to keep researching and learning on their behalf.

I am keen to promote personalised health care and zealous about keeping abreast of new research/advances in nutrition, natural- and energy-medicine. If I do not have the answer, I will do my best to find one!

Being realistic and only human myself, I adhere to an 80/20 approach in my own life and thus I seek to work with my clients to find a uniquely tailored approach that is achievable for each individual.

My Background

The start of my transition from the corporate world to becoming a natural health practitioner started more than a decade ago with a BSc Hons in Nutritional Therapy through the Centre for Nutrition Education and Lifestyle Management (CNELM) in collaboration with Middlesex University.

My degree was taught on the basis of Functional Medicine according to the curriculum of the Institute for Functional Medicine, which enables me to work with all types of health conditions and in compliance with UK National Occupational Standards, allowing me to be registered with the Council for Professions Complementary to Medicine (Malta) and the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (UK), as well as being a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine.

Continuous Professional Development

Quickly realising, that this was only the start of my professional journey, I have since been guided by my clients’ needs and been fortunate to complete much of my Continuous Professional Development with pioneers and experts in my areas of interest which include:

  • The human microbiome
  • Mental health and optimising performance
  • Immune dysfunction and autoimmunity
  • Functional neurology
